A note from Heather ~
Whenever asked “What do you do?” I always take a deep breath and say “Well, I am lucky that I get to do a lot of different things.” I started Gathering over 20 years ago, and for the last fifteen I’ve been fortunate to share this adventure with Mary Ruth. Together we have seen Gathering grow in ways I could have never imagined.
Over the years we have been in the roles of florist, stylist, concept and printed material designer, chandelier hanger, sofa mover, logistics manager, wedding planner and coordinator, book contributor, personal shopper, interior designer, workshop teacher and trusted confidante ( just to name a few!). I think the only thing I haven’t done is play in the band!? But, I do like to dance and love a good tambourine, so you never know!
It has been our privilege and honor to have crafted everything from multi-million dollar events on the opposite coast to charitable events in our own Lowcountry backyard. We love the endless variety that comes from ensuring that each gathering bears the signature of each individual client.
